Polyplacophora
![]() Polyplacophora prefer to inhabit rocky ares near the shore as the shells protect them from the harsh waves. When separated from the rocks a Polyplacophora rolls into a ball and protect the soft area until it reattaches to a rock.

They prefer to live in "intertidal, infralittoral and circalittoral of the Gulf and estuary" but they tend to be distributed in numerous places. 2. Cyanoplax hartwegii/ Hartweg's Chiton Cyanoplax hartwegii can be founded in Santa Cruz, California to Punta Abreojos, Baja California, Mexico. They are "Found in the middle intertidal, often under the alga Silvetia compressa." The Cyanoplax hartwegii can grow up to fourty inches in length wise as th colors caries from green, brown and white. 3.Lepidopleurus cancellatus/ Arctic Cancellate Chiton Lepidopleurus cancellatus are herbivores that have the potentials to grow up to twelve millimeters as it prefers to live in shallow waters but are distributed in numerous areas. |
